How should managers handle concerns?

If someone comes to you with a concern, take special effort to listen and understand the concern. Remove distractions and listen carefully, thank the person for speaking up, and respond respectfully. Take every concern seriously, even if you disagree. Take steps to protect the person’s confidentiality, and identity, as demanded. If you don’t know how to solve a particular concern, reach out to the founders or the PeopleOps Team. Your request will be promptly and fairly addressed.
